Default Retreat hats

I did knit a bit at the retreat but Mary kept offering me alcohol so I got distracted. Had 3 other projects on the go besides these hats. One is blocking, one is waiting for a bit more wool so I can finish it and I am up to the sleeves on that bloody Leisl. I will win this time.

I finished 2 hats. One which bears an uncanny resemblance to a head of broccoli (I do have to agree with you on that, Mary lol) but hey, everyone needs a big, absurd hat that they can wear out with the kids for a romp at the park on a cold day...right? Rav here.

Rikke hat (thanks for finding this pattern SD)

They look great Tas, perfect for these cold days, that's for sure. I couldn't believe how quickly you managed to knit them.

I did leave out an inch on the measurement when I did mine, SD. Measured it up against a couple of hats that I loved the drape of at the back.

Great colour Tas, love your snail I made the rikke last winter and I love it. It does have a great drape at the back.
